We focus on significant not-only win streaks that came to an end across Europe’s top leagues: Premier League, LaLiga, and Bundesliga. However, 35-game incredible unbeaten streak ended in Bundesliga!. Let’s dive into the stats and see which streaks were broken during this exciting week of football.

Arsenal vs Brighton: A Draw-less Streak Broken at Home
Arsenal was riding high on a 16-match draw-less home streak. In their match against Brighton, Arsenal took the lead in the first half, but a red card for Declan Rice early in the second half turned the tide. Brighton equalized, ending Arsenal’s streak of consecutive home wins. This 1-1 draw marks the first time in 12 matches that Arsenal has drawn at home.

Everton’s Continued Struggles
Everton’s season woes persist as they lost yet another game, making it three consecutive defeats. Despite scoring twice in the second half, they conceded three late goals, extending their streak of conceding heavily to three matches. With a goal difference of -8 (2 goals scored, 10 conceded), Everton finds themselves at the bottom of the table.

Man City: A Defensive Masterclass Unbeaten Streak Lives On
Manchester City, on the other hand, continued their incredible defensive streak on the road. Despite conceding a goal in their latest away match, they have only conceded once in their last seven away games, a defensive record unmatched since the start of the 2023/24 season. City remains at the top of the table with a goal difference of +7 (9 – 2), being unbeaten in 24 games in a row!

Atletico Madrid: Home Halve Draws Becoming Rare
Atletico Madrid has been formidable at home, but this week saw their first second-half draw in 16 matches. Compared to last season, they drew in the same number of matches up to 6 times.

FC Barcelona’s Winning Ways
Barcelona ended a unique streak this week when they lost the first half away to Rayo Vallecano after 11 matches of first halves. Despite this, they came back strong to win the game 2-1. In their next match at home, they completely dismantled Valladolid with a 7-0 victory, scoring three goals in the first half alone, finally ending their streak of low-scoring first halves.

Real Madrid: Uncharacteristic First-Half Loss
Real Madrid experienced a rare first-half loss in their match against Las Palmas. This was their first time trailing at halftime in 14 matches. However, they managed to recover and salvage a 1-1 draw

Bayer Leverkusen’s Unbeaten Streak Ends
Perhaps the most dramatic event of the week happened in the Bundesliga, where Bayer Leverkusen’s incredible 35-match unbeaten streak came to an end. At home, they had not lost in 19 matches, but RB Leipzig mounted a stunning comeback. Leverkusen led 2-0 late in the first  half, but Leipzig scored three goals to win 3-2.
